Harry Lucas is a composer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist based out of Brooklyn, New York. A born storyteller, he employs a variety of skills and styles to create scores that emphasize, express, and enhance the core elements of a film.

It is a core belief of his that a score should elevate a film and may often express what may be inexpressible otherwise. Inventive harmony and orchestration are key components of his style. He prefers to work closely with filmmakers in order to craft music with the greatest fit.

Harry graduated from Colorado College with a Bachelor of Arts in Music and is currently enrolled in NYU Steinhardt’s Screen Scoring graduate program. He has experience writing and performing in Western Classical, Jazz, and Modernistic traditions. Above all, he enjoys experimentation and out-of-the-box thinking when crafting a score in order to create the greatest artistic impact possible.
